Allison Pratt-Szeliga

Crop & Soil Researcher

Allison Pratt-Szeliga joined Michael Fields in 2010 in the Crop and Soil Research Program. Prior to her time at MFAI, Allison worked in Niger, West Africa as an Agriculture Extension Agent with the Peace Corps on issues of food security, value added agricultural products, and field crops of sesame, millet, and sorghum. From 2003 to 2008, Allison worked as the Garden Organizer at Capital District Community Gardens and co-managed approximately 30 acres of organic urban and suburban community gardens in Upstate New York. Allison holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication from the University at Albany, NY.
