Love Soil?
Believe in farmers?

Support The Work

Since 1984, Michael Fields Agricultural Institute has fostered innovative, resilient farming practices and food systems that have power to secure long-term health for our soil, water and communities. Today, with ongoing slashes to federal conservation funding and policy, the Institute is working to build a new model of financial stability. We are asking for YOUR support to tackle the challenges threatening our agricultural conservation ecosystem, local economies, and environmental future. Your charitable contribution is tax-deductible. The need is great, but so is the opportunity to make lasting change together!

Why your gift is important NOW

Like many nonprofits, our Institute has recently experienced multiple terminations of funded partnerships with federal agencies. Your tax-deductible donation is the lifeline that enables our crucial work to flourish regardless of political priority shifts. We are building a new financial model for The Institute that balances reliance on institutions with support from like-minded individuals and foundations.

Your Impact

If you love soil and support conservation farmers of all sorts and sizes, you are our people. When you contribute to the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute,  you join a dedicated community striving for an environmentally sound, socially equitable, and economically prosperous agricultural future in the Upper Midwest. Become a partner in the field research, farmer education, and policy advocacy of the Institute. Together, we can make lasting change that supports a healthier planet for all living beings.

Thank You!
