Rebecca Wasserman-Olin, 2015 Garden Apprentice

My name is Rebecca and I am originally from Minneapolis, MN, although sometimes I feel more like a Wisconsinite after four years attending University of Wisconsin-Madison where I recently graduated with majors in Environmental Studies and Agricultural & Applied Economics. Working with Slow Food UW-Madison for three years during college peaked an interest in agriculture and food justice which I continue to explore today. I have worked with various organizations, including Community Groundworks and Growing Power Inc., surrounding these topics and I am excited to continue exploring them this upcoming 2015 season with Michael Fields Agricultural Institute!
