Michael Fields Agricultural Institute is pleased to announce its recent hire of Andrea Clemens, who joined the Education Program November 2015 as the Workshop Coordinator.  Clemens will organize, market, handle the event registrations, as well as participate as an instructor for this season’s interactive workshops and on-site field training for next generation sustainable farmers, beginning farmers and advanced growers wanting to develop their skills and take their competencies to the next level.

Clemens grew up in East Troy and the Milwaukee area.  She is no stranger to Michael Fields Agricultural Institute and has been aquainted with the sustainable farming organization since studying at the Institute in 2005 & 2006 as an intern herself.  Her emphasis grew with organic gardening & flowers.  In 2013, Andrea launched her own business, Lovelight Flowers, which specializes in locally grown cut flowers and event design.  She has now brought her talents back to MFAI.
