About the event
Milwaukee has a vibrant community of urban farmers and gardeners committed to conservation and growing healthy food. However, one common challenge we hear is the difficulty of finding accessible land – whether to start growing or to expand – and funding to support these efforts.
Join MFAI’s Milwaukee Urban Ag Network (MUAN) and American Farmland Trust for an informative event on the land access resources available to urban growers in Milwaukee County.
Representatives of American Farmland Trust, UW Extension Milwaukee County, USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA), Go Farm Connect, and the City of Milwaukee - Department of City Development, will be present to share information about their programs, answer questions, and provide practical guidance on navigating land access opportunities and support services.
Hmong & Spanish interpretation is available. Please indicate need when registering.
For questions, please reach out to MUAN's Program Lead, Noemy Serrano (she/her), at: nserrano@michaelfields.org
