Markets Are Here!

It’s hard to believe May, and the start of Farmers’ Market Season, is here already! We’ve been seeding and getting things ready for a couple of months now, and have even started transplanting our cold hardy crops outside. Thanks to our wonderful greenhouses and hoop house we’ll be able to have greens, salad mix, radishes, turnips, and of course asparagus for the markets in May. We also have beautiful heirloom tomato and pepper plants for sale along with some herbs. Before you know it we’ll have broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, beets, peas and all the other delicious spring veggies.
This year we’ll be at the Lake Geneva Market on Thursdays from 8am – 1pm and the Beloit Market on Saturdays from 8am – 1pm. Back by popular demand is our on-farm stand. This year, starting on May 26th, we’ll be open from 4-6pm Thursday afternoons for those in East Troy or those who just want to visit the farm and say hi. You can pre-order for quick pick-up or just stop by and pick out your own produce. (pre-order by emailing thegardens@michaelfields.org ) Remember to follow us on Facebook for updates on what’s available.
