Michael Fields’ Policy Director, Margaret Krome and Diane Mayerfeld, with UW-Madison’s Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems will co-present a workshop on grant writing to support on-farm research at the big Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) conference at 11:00 a/m/ on Friday, February 24 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
The MOSES conference is the largest event in the U.S. about organic and sustainable farming, offering 65 workshops over six sessions, inspiring keynotes, engaging Roundtables, and an Exhibit Hall with over 170 vendors. MOSES Conference Info Feb. 23-25, 2017, La Crosse, Wis.
Workshop participants will learn how to design on-farm research to provide meaningful answers to their questions. Both Krome and Mayerfeld are experienced grant writers, and have presented around the country on grant-writing. They will identify potential funding sources and help participants maximize their grant-writing successes through an interactive workshop and numerous well-evaluated workshop handouts.
