Our Students Are Everywhere!

One of the main goals of our summer student program is to expose our crew to not only our style of farming but LOTS of styles of farming. To do this we attend workshops, fields days and even volunteer at other farms to help with larger projects such as putting up a small hoop house. All these experiences help our crew in the long term by providing additional situations and experiences they can draw on when deciding how to set up their farm. No 2 farms are exactly alike and no 2 farmers will do the same thing. Showing our students there are many different “right ways” also helps them get over the uncertainty and anxiety of taking that first step.

We’ve had a pretty busy summer already and it’s only half over. I can’t wait to see what the second half brings!
