Slow Money has worked with 26 businesses over the past three years and has facilitated over $4,000,000 in investments for showcase businesses. Past accepted applicants include Yumbutter, MobCraft Beer, Underground Food Collective, Bryant Family Farms, The Cider Farm, and FEED Kitchen.

A reception and a series of Slow Money events will precede the business investor showcase. The goal of the reception and showcase is to open a space for entrepreneurs and investors to create a community of local investment in food. Businesses will have a chance to showcase their products and visions for the future with attendees and investors and funders can access opportunities that fit their needs.

Slow Money Wisconsin will kick off with a reception on Friday, April 29th at Alt Brew (1808 Wright St, Madison) from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Business Investor Showcase will be on the following Friday, May 6th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at The East Side Club (3735 Monona Drive, Madison).

Applications are being accepted through March 11th for the 4th annual Slow Money Wisconsin Business Investors Showcase taking place in Madison on Friday, May 6th.
We are looking for food and value-added farm businesses who share our Slow Money principles and are looking to grow their business.
