Festive Wreath Making with Andrea Clemens of Lovelight Flowers December 3, 2016 A hands-on workshop and opportunity to create a unique wreath. We will enjoy coffee, have an opportunity to meet everyone in the class and spend the morning creating your own wreath or this can easily be modified to create center piece for the table. Frames will be discussed and we’ll demonstrate how to fill your wreath, securely attach foliage so the wreath takes shape, and is transformed into a traditional garland. An abundance of evergreen foliage will be available. Bring in some of your favorite baubles & ribbons for a finishing touch. We will provide all of the florist tools that you will require for the workshop. At the end of the workshop you will have created a festive wreath to bring home.

FSA Opportunities with Tom Olsen of USDA – FSA February 9, 2017 & March 23, 2017 6p.m. – 8p.m. Spend an evening with Tom Olsen of the FSA and learn about some of the Conservation programs, Disaster Assistance, Farm Loan Programs, and more that FSA has available.

Back by popular demand: Beekeeping for Beginners with Dan O’Leary of Honey Valley Apiaries March 11, 2017 & April 29, 2017 (tentative) In this class, you will learn the basic steps on how to start beekeeping.
