Value Added Producer Grant NOFA Announced – Apply Now!
Madison, WI – Last week, the USDA released a Notice of Funding Availability for the Value Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program, which is designed to help producers establish new product lines, expand their marketing reach and exposure, and increase their income. USDA has allocated $10.5 million for the VAPG Program for this round of grants. […]
Chipotle Cultivate Foundation
The Chipotle Cultivate Foundation’s grant-making focuses on supporting family farms that are committed to sustainable farming practices; organizations that are working to develop an affordable, sustainable, pasture-based system of animal production; and organizations promoting better food through innovation or education. The foundation accepts grant proposals by invitation only but is eager to hear about organizations and projects via e-mail.
Wisconsin Dairy 30×20 Grants
Dairy 30×20 grants are available for Wisconsin farmers to plan for future projects, identify ways to increase profits, or transfer the farm to the next generation. Grant recipients will be awarded up to $5,000 to hire consultants with the expertise to address specific business needs. The grants are grouped into two categories: Planning & Preparation and Dairy Profit.
2014 Youth Garden Grants
Since,1982 National Gardening Association has provided the Youth Garden Grant to over 5,000 schools, nonprofits, and youth programs across the United States. Youth Garden Grant has contributed over 2.8 million dollars in funding to youth gardening initiatives and serves as National Gardening Association’s longest standing grant program.
Twenty (20) awards will be offered this year to support programs in the United States.
