Upcoming Whole Farm Workshops

January 24th. 10am-3pm: Whole Farm Management Training with Laura Paine.

You would never set out on a vacation without a destination and a map, so why would you set out to farm without a plan? This training will be a dynamic, interactive session. Participants will be able to take home knowledge, which will help them determine the combination of enterprises and activities best suited for their land, resources and personal goals. Participants are encouraged to bring an aerial photo or a map of their farm.
Cost: $40 for the first person on the farm. Additional family members and business partners attend free of charge. Lunch included.

February 19th. 9am-4pm. Notes from the Underground. Advanced Workshop on Organic Management of Root and Tuber Crops.

Are you looking to learn more about growing root and tuber crops? How about storage options? Is your soil at the quality level you wanted it to be? Attend this workshop to get a better understanding and knowledge of these specific crops. Instructors: Erin Silva, Ruth Genger, Russ Groves, John Hendrickson, Jim Stute.
Cost: $40 for the first person on the farm. Additional family members and business partners $20. Lunch and refreshments included.
